SELL programme introduced in Navrongo-Bolga

Thirty-six youth of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese recently received training in the Sharing, Education and Learning for Life (SELL) programme at the Farmers Training Centre.
The four-day programme under the auspices of the Presentation Brothers, was facilitated by Vincent Ageyi, Hagar Bebuur and Frs. Leo Traynor and Tommy Hayden from the Presentation School at Logre-Kongo at Bolgatanga.
It focused on preparing young adults to be responsible leaders and facilitators of the programme in their communities.
Participants received training on Self-Awareness, one of the six units of the SELL programme, during which they shared ideas, skills and experiences.
The programme offered participants the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the gifts and talents of others and also to acquire the competence and confidence required to facilitate the Programme.
Most Rev. Alfred Agyenta, Bishop of the Diocese, expressed gratitude to the Presentation Brothers for introducing the Programme in the Diocese, saying that it would help promote the integral development of the youth in the Diocese.
He urged participants to collaborate with the facilitators to organise the programme in their respective Parishes to share the benefits, insights and opportunities the programme offers with their colleagues.
This, he said, would contribute to the effective integrated youth development in the Diocese.
